Behind the zines: Living in the aftermath - Joggitt

Behind the Zines is our weekly series of zine readings by queer zine makers, and our latest episode features queer zine maker, author, and poet Joggitt reading from Living in the Aftermath.

John Hoggett aka Joggitt created queer zines throughout the 90s. Living in the Aftermath is a powerful collection of poetry and writing exploring the pain, trauma, and strength of surviving abuse. The zine which was published in 1994 also features poems about love, sex, and pride.

John Hoggett is a Pinko Commie Queer and Dedicated Homosexualist who has lived in Reading all his adult life. He is an experienced performance poet and eco-activist who occasionally likes dressing up and committing random acts of graffiti.
